Ancient Greek Relations

In History on September 20, 2011 by clevesyear4 Tagged: ,

Today we were learning about the family relationships of the main Greek Gods. The children started by using their group working skills to organise themselves to search written evidence for ‘clues’ as to who was related to who and to use this knowledge to create a Greek God Family Tree using old fashioned cutting and sticking. Then we opened our Notebooks and made individual versions by learning how to ‘cut’ and ‘paste’ the electronic way in a Powerpoint file. The children’s work was then printed out ready for their topic book. While learning basic ICT skills, the children were engaged in the task and were proud of what they achieved. You can test their Greek God knowledge by asking them who Zeus was and which of his children were twins. Feel free to comment on their answers below!
